Tasting Note

The 2023 HB Chardonnay offers bright aromas of green apple and lemon zest, with subtle notes of vanilla and toasted almonds. On the palate, it’s crisp and balanced, featuring citrus and stone fruit flavors, with a smooth, creamy texture and refreshing acidity. The finish is clean and slightly mineral, making it a versatile pairing with seafood and creamy dishes.

Vinifacation

The Chardonnay was crafted with meticulous attention to detail. Grapes were hand- harvested at optimal ripeness and gently pressed. The juice underwent a cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fresh fruit flavors. A portion was fermented and aged in French oak barrels, adding complexity and subtle vanilla notes. The wine underwent partial malolactic fermentation, contributing to a creamy texture while retaining bright acidity. The result is a balanced Chardonnay with a harmonious blend of fruit, oak, and freshness.
