Sauvignon Blanc and the 2024 Vintage

Te Mana Estate is a premium wine brand that draws its inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of the Maori people of New Zealand. The name “Te Mana” embodies the essence of power, prestige, and integrity, which are core values reflected in every bottle produced by the estate.

Tasting Note

This wine offers vibrant aromas of lychee, bell pepper, and citrus, with fresh tropical and grassy notes on the front palate. The mid-palate is juicy, leading to a smooth finish with a touch of sweetness. The unique freshness of the wine is attributed to the free-draining soils of the vineyard. It has excellent aging potential and will reward cellaring over the next 5 years.

Vinifacation

The 2024 sauvignon blanc was carefully crafted to preserve its fresh fruit character. The grapes were hand-harvested at optimal ripeness and immediately pressed to extract pure juice. Fermentation took place at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks to retain the vibrant aromas and crisp acidity. A small portion was aged on fine lees for added complexity and texture, without undergoing malolactic fermentation, preserving its natural freshness. The result is a well-balanced wine with a lively, refreshing profile.
